A WOLF IN SHEEPS CLOTHING 

When a young woman and her friends stumble upon a dead body at a kickback, they all must figure out who among them is the killer before the police arrive to the house.

 

Synopsis

When a group of friends get together at a kickback after not seeing each other for months, tragedy suddenly strikes, and the party host is found dead within the house. College students, Kendall, Bryson, and 3 others begin to wonder who in the house is responsible for the death. As the night unfolds, tensions quickly rise all while everyone accuses each other of committing the murder. The true nature of friendship will be put to the test as an insane amount of emotional turmoil presents itself on one chaotic & fateful night.​

MEET THE CREW! 

KEVIN P. BAKER - DIRECTOR/DP/EDITOR

Kevin is a senior Film and Moving Image major at Stevenson University with a concentration in Cinematography and Editing. He will be working primarily as the Director, DP, and Editor for “A Wolf in Sheeps Clothing”. Kevin has worked as a film/media marketing intern at Douron inc. and AMPD. Kevin has used a wide array of mirrorless cameras and is currently working towards his RED camera certification. Kevin's cinematography work is inspired and influenced by the work of famous filmmakers such as Steven Spielberg, Roger Deakins, and Guillermo del Toro. Kevin has worked as a freelancer in the DC area, and has worked for companies like CBS, PBS, VH1, and OWN. In between his school and freelance work, he finds time to tell his own stories with a company he co-owns called, WHRCK PRODUCTIONS LLC.

HAZEN BATOCK - PRODUCER/WRITER

Hazen Batock is a Senior Film and Moving Image Major with a track in Producing and Writing at Stevenson University. He will be working primarily as the Producer and Screenwriter for “A Wolf in Sheeps Clothing”. He has written and produced a total of 4 short films and 2 short documentaries for his production company that he co-owns called, WHRCK Productions LLC. Hazen has also had a short screenplay that he wrote titled, Death’s Epiphany, published by Stevenson University’s literary and media magazine, The Greenspring Review. Hazen’s current work is inspired by his interest in deep narratives and the different philosophical and ethical dilemmas that exist in the world. Hazen has also worked as a production assistant/producing intern for Producers guild member, Douglas B. Maddox at his film production company DBM communications.

KEYSHAWN MAKELL - SCRIPT SUPERVISOR

Keyshawn Makell is currently a senior Film and Moving Image major at Stevenson University. Keyshawn will be working as the Script Supervisor for "A Wolf in Sheeps Clothing". Keyshawn is a screenwriter, filmmaker, editor, and co-owner of WHRCK Productions LLC. Known amongst his peers for his imaginative, versatile, and often unorthodox filmmaking style, Keyshawn spent most of his time reading and writing short creative stories as he developed his artistic skills. He is an avid lover of animation, and harbors a fondness for niche and unexplored genres in media. Some of Keyshawn's credits at WHRCK Productions include "Trauma"(2020), "Death’s Epiphany" (2020) and "Demon" (2021). 

JONATHAN MIDDOUR - GAFFER

Jonathan Middour is a Senior Filma and Moving Image major at Stevenson University. He will be working as the gaffer for "A Wolf in Sheeps Clothing". His favorite types of films to make are documentaries. His hobbies include gaming and playing soccer. His most recent achievement was his short film "Create" being nominated for Best Film, Best Directing, and Best editing at Stevenson University FMI awards.

JALEN D. ROBINSON - AD/HEAD OF SOUND

Jalen Robinson is a rising professional in the field of media production. He was exposed to film at an early age and has been in love with cinema since then. He aspires to live up to the works of his heroes Steven Spielberg, Spike Lee & Martin Scorsese to name a few. Working on “A Wolf in Sheeps Clothing” as the assistant director, boom operator, as well as the head of sound for the film has been a challenging but rewarding experience for him. Mr. Robinson plans to leave his mark on the world through his various contributions in the world of media production. Jalen is also a co-owner of the film production company, WHRCK Productions LLC.

ROBERT LEWIS - EDITOR/VFX ARTIST

Robert Lewis is currently a Computer Science/Cyber Security major at York College of Pennsylvania. Robert has worked as the main editor on a total of 3 short films which have been produced by WHRCK Productions LLC. Robert will be working as one of the editors for "A Wolf in Sheeps Clothing" as well as the VFX artist for the film. He has experience editing in a wide variety of editing software's which includes Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Final Cut Pro, and Avid Media composer. His current and previous editing work is inspired by his love for anime. He even has his own social media page in which he consistently posts anime AMG edits for his growing fanbase. Robert is also a co-owner of the film production company, WHRCK Productions LLC.

A Wolf in Sheep's clothing is set to be WHRCK Production’s most ambitious film yet. Producer/Screenwriter, Hazen Batock worked tirelessly with Director, Kevin P. Baker to craft a breathtaking whydunit film that is sure to get our viewers to deeply question human nature. Every good whydunit story allows the audience to discover something about human nature that they did not think was possible before. Our short film, A wolf in sheep's clothing, hold this notion to be true in every facet.  A wolf in sheep's clothing is set to be released on June 1st, 2022. See you all soon!
